Turf Farm
Doguet’s Turf Farm began growing sod in China, TX in 1974. In 2003, another property was acquired in Nome, which added 300 acres to the overall operation. Family members, in conjunction with turf scientists, have helped develop and patent new varieties of grass, which have earned top ratings and high praise. The company grows and harvests St. Augustine and Centipede grass, and is the exclusive grower and sole distributor of baby Bermuda and JaMur Zoysia for East Texas and the state of Louisiana. 165 acres of turf was added in Poth, TX to serve the San Antonio area with quality Doguet sod. Delivery and professional installation services complete the farm operations. Homeowners can also purchase smaller quantities at the Doguet Rice Mill office at 795 S. Major Dr. in Beaumont.
